Performances that have become traditional for the city are the international gala evenings of professional boxing in Vratsa.

Some of the most titled boxers in the world have entered the ring in Vratsa, and Vratsa has hosted unprecedented boxing matches for titles of the World Boxing Association (WBA) - one of the most prestigious organizations for professional boxing.

In November 2013, the first gala evening was organized with serious international participation. Spectators witnessed 9 spectacular matches, culminating in the evening's match for Sergei Rabchenko's European title against Bradley Price. Special guests at the gala evening were the President of the European Boxing Union Bob Logist and the Secretary General of the organization Enza Jacoponi.

The performance "Evening of the Boxers-2" was broadcast live on Nova Sport (Bulgaria), Kombat Sport (France) and Boxing National (Great Britain), as well as recorded on the air of the largest international sports television Eurosport.

On May 9, 2015, under the patronage of the Municipality of Vratsa and in partnership with All Stars Boxing Club, Hatton Promotion and World Sport Promotion, a gala boxing evening was held under the motto "Evening of Boxers".

The gala show was broadcast live on national television, and the rights to the television broadcast were bought by a number of sports channels from Europe and Asia.

The sporting event was of the highest rank, with no equivalent in Eastern Europe and brought together top boxers from Europe, Asia and South America. The highlight of the program were three meetings for extremely prestigious WBA titles, won by Zinat Zakiyanov (Kazakhstan), Kiril Relik (Belarus) and Bulgarian pride Galina Ivanova.
